STATEMENT TO OSLO STOCK EXCHANGE
Through its subsidiary TTS Ships Equipment AB (TTS) in Gothenburg, TTS Marine ASA has landed a contract worth approximately NOK 45m for the delivery of ships equipment for two ships with delivery in the first quarter of 2005 and the first quarter of 2006, respectively.
The contract with Mitsubishi in Japan concerns the delivery for two car carriers. The deliveries include the construction and delivery of key components for RoRo systems, such as internal car decks and ramps, as well as stern ramps for the loading and discharge of vehicles. TTS has previously delivered similar equipment for car carriers in the same series.
Since May, 2003, the company has landed contracts for 14 car carriers in total, worth a total of approximately NOK 250m. The signing of contracts is instrumental in positioning the company among the leading suppliers of this sort of equipment. The prospects of landing more similar contracts are good.
